Overview
Camel trekking has a reputation for being "a tourist thing." Sometimes it is. But a slow, gentle ride through the ancient Aghroud forest, past the shimmering Souss River, with mint tea and a sizzling BBQ at the end? That's not box-ticking — that's an afternoon your family will talk about for years.
The camels are patient, gentle and frankly a little dramatic about standing up and sitting down — you'll understand the first time. The pace is slow, the shade is cool, and the photos are unreal. And unlike the desert camps two hours inland, we're just twenty minutes from your hotel — so you spend your holiday riding, not sitting in a minibus.
"We brought our two kids and it was the best afternoon of the trip. The camels were so gentle, the forest was beautiful, and the BBQ at the end was incredible. Transport was seamless." — Ahmed & Leila, Paris, France ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cultural Connection
The camel is the heartbeat of the desert. For Amazigh families of the Souss-Massa region, these animals carried goods, people and stories across the dunes for centuries. Our trek follows the same forest trails the caravans used, and ends at the Kasbat Souss artisan complex — where local craftsmen and women keep Berber traditions alive in leather, pottery and textiles. This is the desert's gentle, authentic side.
After your trek, explore the Kasbat Souss artisan complex — a living museum of Amazigh crafts, mint tea and warm hospitality.

Do I need to bring anything special? Just comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. We provide everything else, including mint tea and a full BBQ at the end.
How long is the ride itself? Around 45 minutes to an hour of riding, with the whole experience (transport, briefing, trek, feast) lasting about 2 hours.
Is it safe? Very. Our camels are gentle and handled by experienced guides, and the forest trails are sheltered and easy. The dramatic standing-up moment is the only surprise — and it's all part of the fun.
